What a fantastic day we had at the Salisbury B2B Expo!

The Total Guide to Wiltshire and Total Business Network team were delighted to exhibit at the event, and our stand was buzzing throughout the day. Our ever-popular Spin the Wheel competition proved to be a real hit once again, creating plenty of fun, smiles and conversations with visitors.

One of the highlights for me was meeting so many new businesses from across the region, as well as catching up with lots of familiar faces. It was especially lovely to see many TBN members who had come straight from our TBN Online networking session earlier that morning before heading over to the expo. It really showcased the strength of our growing business community and the power of combining online and face-to-face networking.

As if exhibiting wasn’t enough, the day took an unexpected turn when I was asked at the last minute to step in for a cancelled seminar speaker. With very little preparation time, I hosted a session on my Top 5 Social Media Tips for Business.

Thankfully, we had a fantastic audience who were incredibly engaged throughout. The session quickly became very interactive, with lots of questions, discussion and shared experiences. It’s always rewarding to see businesses eager to learn new ways to improve their marketing and make social media work harder for them.

The day certainly didn’t slow down there! I also had the pleasure of hosting the Speed Networking session, helping businesses make new connections and maximise their time at the expo.

Phew… it was certainly a busy day in Salisbury, but one that perfectly demonstrated the energy, ambition and collaboration that exists within the local business community.

A huge thank you must go to the team at B2B Expos for delivering another seamlessly organised event. Their professionalism, attention to detail and ability to bring together businesses from across the region never fails to impress.
